Marta MartÃnez Corada is the founder of Mei Mei Social CIC and a multidisciplinary artist working under the name MEI MEI. Alongside her artistic practice, she has been designing and delivering inclusive community arts programmes across Islington since 2015.
With over a decade of experience in community engagement, Marta believes that creativity has the power to improve wellbeing, build confidence, and bring people together. Through Mei Mei Social CIC, she creates welcoming spaces where people of all ages and backgrounds can explore their creativity, develop new skills, and form meaningful connections.
Her work combines professional artistic practice with a strong commitment to making the arts accessible, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to take part, regardless of experience or circumstance.
